Vendor Terms & Stallholder Agreement
These terms apply to vendors participating in markets organized by Malta Artisan Markets.
1. Application Process
All vendors must submit an application and receive confirmation before participating in any market.
Acceptance is based on:
- Product quality
- Category balance
- Suitability for the event
Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
2. Vendor Fees
Participation requires payment of a stall fee.
- Fees must be paid by the stated deadline
- Failure to pay may result in cancellation
- Fees are generally non-refundable unless stated otherwise
3. Setup and Operation
Vendors agree to:
- Arrive on time for setup
- Maintain a clean and professional stall
- Remain open during event hours
- Follow instructions from event organizers
4. Product Requirements
Vendors must ensure that:
- Products are handmade, artisan, or independently produced where applicable
- Products comply with Maltese safety regulations
- Food vendors comply with food safety and hygiene laws
Malta Artisan Markets reserves the right to remove unsuitable products.
5. Insurance and Liability
Vendors are responsible for their:
- Products
- Equipment
- Transactions
- Public liability insurance where required
Malta Artisan Markets is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vendor property.
6. Conduct
Vendors must behave professionally and respectfully toward customers, other vendors, and event staff.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and exclusion from future markets.
7. Event Changes
Events may be postponed, relocated, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather or safety concerns.
Organizers will communicate updates as soon as possible.
8. Agreement
By applying to participate in a market organized by Malta Artisan Markets, vendors agree to these terms.
